This collection won the Cinnamon Poetry Pamphlet Prize in 2017. It charts a descent into the jaws of mental ill-health and different ways into the experiences of being unwell, that tread the fine line between what we all can identify with (how the world is full of toilets to cry in) and the sinister (what it feels like to be on 24/7 suicide watch). The poems chart the slow road of resilience through to recovery, ever observant of the fragility of the everyday.
